The N4 Stage

Blaenavon (pronouced bline-av-un) combine vibrant melodies and rhythms with darker lyrics and themes. Ben Gregory (vocals), Frank Wright (bass) and Harris McMillan (drums) first met when they were in secondary school in Hampshire and won their final year talent contest with a cover of Muse’s ‘Knights Of Cydonia’.

The trio signed to Transgressive Records and released their debut EP Koso in 2013 followed by second EP Miss World in 2015. The band’s debut album That’s Your Lot produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Bombay Bicycle Club) was released in 2017. The 12 tracks intensely personal songs explore friendship, sadness, hope, love held and lost, and all the confusions of youth in a world that is slowly revealing itself.

Blaenavon recently revealed that their upcoming second album is titled Everything That Makes You Happy. Frontman Ben Gregory shared that the album will be about “suffering, guilt, love, family and overcoming trauma”
