Marmozets, Sam Fender, Bad Sounds and more added to Community 2018
We’re about to give you even more bands for your 40 bucks.
If you thought Community couldn’t get any better this year – think again. We’re about to blow your mind and add another seven acts who will be joining the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, You Me At Six and more in London’s Finsbury Park.
Let’s get right into it. The Yorkshire quintet, Marmozets are back with a bang and we’re stoked to welcome them to this year’s Community Festival. They released their eagerly anticipated sophomore album ‘Knowing What You Know Now’ to widespread acclaim just last week. If you’ve seen them before you’ll know their live shows promise to be raw and utterly savage.
Also guaranteed to put on a stonking performance this year are the Spanish rockers, Belako. That’s not all though, Sam Fender, one of the BBC Music Sound of 2018 stars, also joins the bill. Sam burst onto the scene in 2017 with his debut single ‘Play God’ and his grit and fresh lyrical take on modern society is attracting fans including Radio 1’s Annie Mac.
If you’re looking for energetic, upbeat party vibes – we’ve got them by the bucket load in the shape of Bad Sounds. The five-piece fronted by brothers Ewan and Callum will bring the old school hip-hop lyrics, filthy bass lines and big beats.
Also joining the the best one-day celebration of the hottest new music on the planet are Yorkshire’s Yungblud who’ll bring a healthy touch of ska, London alt-rockers King Nun and singer/songwriter Ten Tonnes.
With even more announcements still to come, you better make sure you’ve got your tickets in the bag.
