Anti Tout Information

Beware of unauthorised ticket agents and individual re-sellers  (including tickets offered on eBay, Gumtree and Craigslist, Instagram and Facebook and re-sale sites such as Viagogo and Stubhub), buying from them can be a lot of trouble. It’s possible you’ll pay over the odds for a ticket that may have never existed or might never materialise.

If you have been the victim of a ticket scam please report the website to Action Fraud.

We have compiled a guide to avoiding touts and unauthorised websites and agents. We recommend you DO NOT BUY from these sites. We the promoter (Festival Republic) have not supplied any of these sites with any festival tickets and cannot guarantee the authenticity of any tickets they may be offering for sale.  For more information see our Anti Tout Guide.

If you would like confirmation that a website is authorised or not, you can call our information line on 020 7009 3001.

We monitor the internet and do what we can to prevent fraudulent activity but the best way to prevent fraud is to not risk buying from unauthorised sources.

We’re not doctors, please be understanding if we question what you’re bringing in as it is important to prevent illegal drugs from finding their way into the festival. Bags must not be left at entrances or surrounding areas. Any items left will be removed and disposed of accordingly.

You will also be searched at the entrance to the event which may include a full body pat down and a walk through a metal detector. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated.

Please allow plenty of time to get into the event, and for concert entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.

Food and Drink

You are not permitted to bring soft drinks or into the festival.

You can bring in small amounts of food for personal consumption.

Please don’t bring any alcohol or glass containers/bottles of any sort.

Keeping it Green

We hope you love Finsbury Park as much as we do and want to help us keep it one of London’s favourite green spaces. We are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of the festival and need your help to make it happen.

We signed the Festival Vision 2025 in 2015 with an industry shared view to reduce our greenhouse emissions by 50% by 2025.

Single use plastic

We have banned single use plastic cutlery at Community and all food stalls use only compostable packaging.

Three bin system

We run a three-bin system at the festival, which means every bin station will be formed by 3 bins:

Compost – When you buy food from the traders at Community Festival, everything your food comes in is compostable so plates, cutlery and napkins can be placed in the compost bins along with the food scraps.  Please make sure NO PLASTIC goes into the compost.

Recycle – Plastic bottles, aluminium cans, newspapers, magazines and clean and dry cardboard (no used greasy pizza boxes as these do not recycle).

General Waste – There should be minimal left over that goes into General Waste.

Last year 5 tonnes each of cups and bottles were returned to our deposit return points – that’s the weight of two African elephants!

Bin Your Butts

Every butt has to be picked up by hand, so it would be awesome if you did not flick your cigarette and put it out before you bin it.

Security

Security measures are in place, which include metal detectors and sniffer dogs, at all entry gates. Large bags are not allowed to be taken into the festival. There is no cloakroom.

Small bags are allowed into the festival with the dimensions W21cm x H30cm x D8cm. We appreciate your cooperation and patience when entering the festival.

Visit our Personal Safety page for further information about the security measures in place at the event.

Age Restrictions

Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over) at all times and will need a full price ticket.

We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.

Please bring ID if you look under 21 years old and remember that legally there is no automatic right to be served alcohol. Service is always at the discretion of the licensee for whatever reason they decide, and the licensee is under no obligation to explain the reason.

The only accepted proof of age documents are:
